Better where it matters: SMA Home & Small Commercial Energy Solution
The SMA Home & Small Commercial Energy Solution premiered at the Intersolar trade fair in 2026. The fully integrated solution offers a scalable, reliable and future-proof energy supply for homes and small commercial projects, featuring SMA’s industry-leading standards in cyber security. The system, which is manufactured in Europe (Poland), is comprised of the three-phase Sunny Tripower Hybrid X, the SMA Storage M and the SMA Backup. Under the motto “Better where it matters”, the individual components and the integrated system offer a range of benefits both individually and when combined as a system, setting new standards compared with existing solutions.
SMA Storage XL – Storage Solution for Commercial Projects
We are continuing to expand our portfolio for C&I projects. The Storage XL Package from our long-standing partner SMA focuses on maximum efficiency, safety and flexibility. This complete package is designed for commercial battery storage projects requiring a scalable storage solution with integrated energy management and future backup functionality from a single source – while also being ideally prepared for the use of dynamic electricity tariffs.
As the successor to the SMA Commercial Storage Solution, it offers solar professionals straightforward installation, fast commissioning, and a high degree of prefabrication. Let’s take a closer look at the solution.

Sunny Tripower X 50 & 60
The three-phase Sunny Tripower X 50 and 60 string inverters deliver up to 60 kW of AC output power for commercial PV systems. Five MPP trackers, the integrated System Manager and features such as SMA ArcFix and ShadeFix enable flexible system design, a high level of safety and high energy yields – for commercial rooftops, solar carports and ground-mounted PV systems.
SMA Home Storage
Whether there is low sunlight or midday peak, solar power can be stored in SMA Home Storage and is available as needed. The battery offers flexible scalability (from 3.2 kWh to 16.4 kWh), which can be adapted to individual requirements, and has a particularly long service life of around 8,000 charging cycles.
SMA eCharger
The SMA eCharger's intelligent charging modes adapt to user needs through forecast-based operation. It automatically switches between phases, enabling charging during periods of low solar output for cost-effective mobility, higher PV self-consumption, and a shorter payback period for the PV system.
Sunny Tripower Hybrid X 5/6/8/10/12/15
The Sunny Tripower Hybrid X combines an inverter and energy management in a single device. The integrated energy management system controls the energy flows within the system and coordinates generation, storage and consumption. This creates a system that can be designed end-to-end, commissioned quickly and operated safely – with greater flexibility during installation and less complexity in operation.
